Laser Treatments Terms and Conditions
All our Laser Treatments are based on a course of multiple sessions. These courses will be carefully developed to assess patients and achieve the best results, as such, full adherence to these treatment courses is essential for patient safety and to achieve best results.
Professional standards and qualifications
The laser treatment service involves information, advice, and treatment. All our patients while having laser treatment at our clinic are monitored to ensure patient safety and best possible results. The service is provided by qualified practitioners. Strathearn Health and Beauty is registered with Healthcare Improvement Scotland (regulatory body for independent healthcare providers).
Booking
Patients are required to complete a medical questionnaire with an up loaded Photo ID in order to access their suitability for the treatment. Existing patients who are returning after an interval period of 3 months plus who have had a change in circumstances (new medication, health condition, treatment…) will also be expected to complete a new medical questionnaire and are subject to a new patch test. On successful completion of the medical questionnaire, you will be automatically redirected to our booking platform where you can choose a suitable/available date and time. If your questionnaire shows that you are unsuitable for the Laser Treatment programme you will be notified prior to your appointment and no charge. All new patients or patients who have not attended the clinic in 3 months or more are required to have a patch test on the treatment area/s prior to any full Laser treatment can begin.Patients who routinely miss appointments may have their treatment programme terminated. In addition the clinic will monitor the progress of each patient and make a decision based on results to determine the progression of the course.
Patient Portal
All patients who are entered into the Laser Treatment Service will be expected to set up their Patient Access Portal using the instructions provided via email. This portal allows you to access important health information relating to your program. It will also include helpful pre and post treatment information to help achieve the best results.
By registering to use any of our services,
• You confirm that the information you have provide is accurate and complete
• Agree to keep your username and password confidential and to take reasonable steps to protect your online patient record
• Confirm that you are aged 18 or over.
Information and advice
The information and advice provided by Strathearn Health and Beauty is based on the information you have supplied to us. It is your responsibility to ensure the information is correct. Failure to do so (whether intentionally or not) will affect the information, advice, and treatment we give you, which may have consequences for which we are not responsible. Our practitioners may require additional information before deciding to providing the service. We try to reply to all patient emails within 72 hours, excluding public holidays or clinic closure days.
Attending Appointments
Patients will receive an email and text notification confirming their appointment including the terms and conditions of attending the clinic. A further reminder text will be sent 24hrs prior to your appointment. All patients attending the clinic will be expected to pay close attention to our current COVID-19 rules.
Verifying your identity
Photo ID may be required for verification of all new patients on their first visit to the clinic. Photo ID will be required on all new Medical Questionaire forms. Current patients are not required to provide Photo ID. Exsiting patients who have not attended the clinic in the past 12 months will be required to register again as a new patient, with Photo ID.
Follow up:
A staff member may contact you after using the service regarding your treatment service or for feedback. We appreciate if patients can give feedback which will help us improve the service. From time to time we use anonymous patient information to carry out clinical audits and help improve patient and clinical care.
Payments
Payments are made using the online Fresha payment system. Patients can book one or more sessions while also able to change or cancel appointments (T&Cs). Patients who have paid in full but failed to attend or cancel a scheduled appointment with less than 48hrs notice will forfeit any costs/fees associated with that appointment. If a patient cannot continue with the programme due to medical reasons (clinic practitioner will advise) and has paid for programme upfront in full a credit will be given less any costs the the clinic has incur i.e booking fees etc.
Continuation of Programme
After intial treatment/patch test the practioner will suggest with patient next recommend appointment date. Laser treatments can be 4 to 6 weeks apart depending on treatment. If after the appointment is booked and its not suitable time the patient can change it by logging onto their fresha account, this can be preformed anytime up to 48 hours prior to booked appointment.
Processing Payments
When booking an appointment patients will be required to open their own account in Fresha, patients are advised to keep their user Id and password safe. Once a patient has signed up to Fresha they will have access to book and change appointments as per the terms. All payments are taken via our online booking agent website or app (Fresha) and as such, all patients are bound by the terms and conditions of service of these companies. Fresha Security Information re their website. "At Fresha, we take security very seriously. Your data is your data (not ours) and will not be shared with anyone or any third parties. All user data is securely backed-up every 5 minutes on Fresha’s encrypted cloud database, our system uses SSL security and our hardware has top of the range firewalls".
Appointment Cancellations
Patients have the right to change their mind and refuse treatment at any stage. If you decide to cancel your treatment or change to another date, this must be done at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Booking changes within the cancellation period may be done by phoning the clinic on 0141 333 1900 or via the Fresha booking site/app (used to book your appointment). Any changes to your scheduled appointment must be at least before 48hrs prior to your scheduled appointment. If you cancel or request a change less than 48 hours prior to your appointment you may still be liable for the full cost of the treatment.
Strathearn Health and Beauty reserve the right to reject any booking.

In order to provide online services, Strathearn may use 3rd party software or apps.

All our patients while having the treatment at our clinic are monitored to ensure patient health and safety. Booking
Patients are required to complete a medical questionnaire with an up loaded their Photo ID and picture of the lesion/s in order to access their suitability for the Treatment, this will also apply to previous patients. On successful completion of the medical questionnaire, you will be automatically redirected to our booking platform where you can choose a suitable/available date and time. If for any reason the surgeon reviewing your questionnaire has any concerns or queries you may receive a telephone call to discuss the matter further. If your questionnaire shows that you are unsuitable for the treatment you will be notified prior to your appointment and no charge.

All patients who are entered into the Lesion Treatment Service will be expected to set up their Patient Access Portal using the instructions provided via email. This portal allows you to access important pre and post treatment information.

If your questionnaire shows that you are unsuitable for the Treatment you will be notified prior to your appointment and no charge will be made against your payment method.
Consent to Treatment
By booking or confirming bookings with Strathearn Health and Beauty you are consenting to all Terms and Conditions of the treatment. It is the responsibility of the patient to inform Strathearn Health and Beauty prior to your appointment, ANY changes in your circumstances that might affect your treatment.
Patients have the right to withdraw consent to treatment at any time.
Nutritional Supplement
Strathearn Health and Beauty offer Vitamin B12 Injections as a nutritional supplement only. We do not test for Vitamin B12 deficiencies or related conditions. Patients who do require Vitamin B12 injections for medical reasons may still get Vitamin B12 Injections, however these bookings must be accompanied by a referral letter from a GP or healthcare specialist. Strathearn Health and Beauty may request a scan/copy of your referral letter prior to your appointment, and this may be held on your patient file. All records are covered by our data protection and privacy policies.
